CPO FEED-A-FAMILY FOOD DRIVE

St. Michael Feed-A-Family Food Drive 

Saturday, January 18 & Sunday, January 19

Join us in supporting the Feed-A-Family Food Drive to benefit Catholic Parish Outreach (CPO), the largest food pantry in the Triangle. Your donations of food and financial contributions will help provide meals for families in need throughout our community.

Ways to Contribute

Donate Groceries:

Help fill the shelves of CPO by purchasing groceries using the provided shopping list. You can buy in bulk or purchase individual items. Donations can be dropped off at the CPO truck on January 18–19.

The following items are needed:

Canned Fruit or Vegetables
Oatmeal
Canned or Dehydrated Soup
Boxed Mac and Cheese
Pasta and Canned Tomato Sauce
Peanut Butter
Hamburger / Chicken Helper
Canned Tuna / Meat
Instant Dry Milk
Toilet Paper
Bars of Soap
Diapers, sizes 4-6
Baby Wipes
Infant Formula (milk based)
Stage 1,2,3, or graduates Baby Food

Please bring your donations to the CPO truck on January 18–19.

Make a Monetary Donation:
If you’re short on time, consider a financial gift. Your donation of $55 provides a family with a week’s worth of groceries. Donate through REALM here. Thanks to generous food donations and CPO’s volume-buying power, every dollar counts. Monetary donations are tax-deductible. Also, checks can be made payable to Catholic Parish Outreach and handed to a volunteer at the CPO truck or mail them to CPO.

CPO is the largest food pantry in the Triangle, serving families in need for over 45 years. Their mission is to provide nutritious food and essential household items to families who face food insecurity.

¿No tienes tiempo para ir de compras?   Haga su cheque pagadero a Catholic Parish Outreach y entréguelo a un ofrézcase como voluntario en el camión de CPO durante la colecta de alimentos. Gracias a las donaciones de alimentos y a la compra por volumen de CPO Power, una donación de $55 alimenta a la familia durante una semana. 

  1. CPO es la despensa de alimentos más grande del Triángulo.
  2. Los clientes son elegibles para recibir comestibles para una semana cada 30 días.
  3. El 70% de los alimentos de CPO son donados.
  4. CPO ha estado sirviendo a los necesitados durante 48 años.
  5. CPO ha satisfecho estas necesidades con 4 empleados y muchos voluntarios dedicados.

Please join us this Christmas season as we celebrate for the birth of our Lord. The schedule can be found in our parish bulletin and also by clicking here.

The Parish Offices will be closed beginning Friday, December 20 at Noon, in observance of Christmas. The Offices will reopen on Thursday, January 2 at 8:00am. On behalf of the Clergy and Parish Staff, we wish you a very blessed Christmas.
A Christmas Gift from the Parish: Receive a free copy of “33 Days to Eucharistic Glory” (one per family) after all Christmas Masses. Each book includes a bookmark with information on joining a small group discussion.
