CLOW

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is offered during the 8:30am Sunday Mass with the exception of liturgical holidays and the summer months. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is open to all children in Preschool (age 4) through 2nd grade. At the beginning of Mass, the children are invited forward after the Opening Prayer and dismissed to a designated area to worship. The children will then return to Mass during the Offertory to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Parents are welcome to attend with their children. Sometimes children need to have the comfort of a parent for the first few times. The program is operated as a parent co-op with the expectation that parents volunteer to be a lead catechist or assistant once every 2 months for children to participate.
