FROM FRANK: ADVICE FROM ST. PAUL ABOUT LIVING OUR FAITH IN JESUS

Advice from St. Paul From Frank

SHARING MEANS SERVING OTHERS

“Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, as indeed you do.”
From the First Letter of St Paul to the Thessalonians 5:1–6,9–11

History records Paul’s remarkable impact on the rapid growth of the early Church. He encouraged the converts to stick together, to work together for the good of all, and to reach out to others with the Good News of Jesus. He energized the early Christian communities and shared
Jesus’ Gospel Values about how to live daily as Jesus did. His teachings show how, as followers of Jesus Christ, we can grow closer to God by:

  • Living our faith in daily, family, and community life,
  • Acting peacefully and respectfully in communion with others,
  • Growing more like Christ with the support and wisdom of the faithful in our lives,
  • Loving one another as Jesus loves us,
  • Serving God by helping others hear, understand and live the Good News of Christ.

We grow stronger in our faith and happier in our lives by sharing the Word of God with those around us, especially among our fellow Saint Michael The Archangel Parishioners. So, here’s an opportunity to do just that –– NOW. Our Parish has a long-successful Faith Formation Program reaching all ages. Its success is built partly on superb Staff Planning and Administration. But, the program is fully Owned and Operated by the customers –– Saint Michael’s parishioners. That’s you and me and the individuals and families that share our Faith in God and our commitment to building on the strength of our Parish Community.

Right now, Sacramental Faith Formation has opportunities –– actually critical needs –– for Catechists and Class Assistants. It’s our program, it’s our children and it’s our opportunity to share our Faith for the future of the Catholic Church.
