I am excited and blessed to be part of the St. Michael community as the Director of Faith Formation. In my role, I oversee the faith formation programs for children and youth. This includes St. Mike’s Tikes, Challenge and Conquest, high school youth ministry, and Sacramental preparation of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Having served for many years in parish and school ministry as well as at the diocesan level as Senior Director for Children and Families in the Diocese of Raleigh, I am excited to meet and foster new relationships with the St. Michael parish community.

Being an NC certified teacher and school administrator with over twenty years in Catholic school education, ministry, and youth leadership development, I hope to inspire today’s youth to serve God as leaders within the community they live. The scripture quote that inspires me is “what the LORD requires of you: Only to do justice and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).

I am a practicing Catholic native to Buffalo, New York and have lived in North Carolina for over twenty years with my husband Tom. Together we raised four beautiful children and have gained three wonderful in-law children along with six grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy playing with the grandbabies, working on puzzles, and watching hockey games.

Since parents are a child’s first teacher of the faith, I deeply value family engagement and participation in faith formation. It is important to me to remain in communication with parents and primary caregivers to provide support in the formation process of their child.
