Welcome! My name is Christina Dietzler and I am excited to serve as the Youth Minister at St. Michael!
My primary role will be inviting high school youth to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ while experiencing an encouraging and lively community at our parish. In addition, I oversee preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, lead the High School Youth Group, and plan special events that foster opportunities for youth to explore how their unique gifts can be used in loving service of Christ and neighbor.
I grew up in Philadelphia, PA and spent a few years in Lafayette, IN while completing a graduate degree in Theology. My go to fun fact is that I have 45 first cousins! In my free time, I enjoy singing, listening to music, reading and spending time with friends and family.
My favorite ways to pray include singing at Mass, journaling with Sacred Scripture and silent adoration of Jesus in the Eucharist. The Acts of the Apostles remains one of my favorite books in the Bible as it reveals the power of the Holy Spirit to dispel fear and to strengthen all disciples with hope, resilience and joy.
Please reach out to me if you have a child who may be interested in our ministries for high schoolers or if you are an adult seeking to support our youth as a Confirmation Catechist or a Youth Group Mentor. I look forward to getting to know you!
