Hi, my name is Cindy Rowe, and I am a member of the Pastoral Council.
I joined the council in August 2024. I’ve been a parishioner at St. Michael for 23 years. My professional experience spans various roles, including sales, marketing, leadership development, strategy, program management, and business operations. This diverse background will support the strategic work the council is undertaking, collaborating with council members and the church community, and executing the initiatives that serve our parish.
Outside of my council duties, I enjoy any outdoor activity, spending time with family and friends, and engaging in community philanthropy. I’m involved with the Women's Giving Network of Wake County, where we award grants to non-profits serving women and families within the county.
I’ve really enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of shaping the strategic direction of the parish. It’s been a blessing to work with such faith-filled members committed to serving our diverse community.
To anyone considering getting more involved, my advice is: Don’t wait for the perfect time or opportunity. Just find one thing! Your level of involvement will vary depending on your season in life, but there are so many wonderful ways to contribute. When you take that step, you will be a blessing to others and find yourself blessed with new friendships and a beautiful community that supports you.
In addition to my work on the Pastoral Council, I have been involved in Faith Formation Catechism, Meals in Need, Small Group Bible Studies, Jesse Tree, Thanksgiving Baskets, Child-care Co-op for Sunday Masses, and I serve as an Eucharistic Minister at Glenaire.
