Hello! My name is Erik Rodriguez, and I am a member of the Pastoral Council.

As a council member, my role is to examine matters presented by the pastor, consider the implications of those matters, and then provide the pastor with a recommendation on the best course of action.

I’ve been a parishioner of St. Michael since 2015. Professionally, I work at a bank, where I’ve gained valuable experience in supporting and providing guidance through listening, understanding, creating plans, prioritizing tasks, thinking analytically, managing time, and showing empathy. These skills help me contribute to the council and support the parish.

Outside of my council duties, I love spending time outdoors, especially enjoying the beautiful views that God has created.

What I enjoy most about being on the council is the opportunity to connect with my brothers and sisters in faith, learn from them, and support those in need.

For anyone thinking about getting involved, my advice is: It is a joy to support our parish, and while it brings many memorable moments, it also comes with responsibility. Take time to discern with Jesus before committing to ensure you’re fully aligned with your calling.

I’m also involved in the Conoce tu Iglesia group, which streams on YouTube and Facebook every Wednesday, and I serve as a Confirmation Group Leader on Sundays.
