In celebration of the Easter season, the parish office will close at noon on Holy Thursday, April 17 and will reopen with normal office hours on Monday, April 28. May the joy of the Risen Christ fill your hearts this Easter!
Join us at St. Michael’s for Changes and Challenges, for parents with adolescents entering/in puberty. This program is an ideal way for children who are on the brink of their teen years to learn about God’s wonderful gift of fertility and about the beauty of becoming an adult.
This is a two-session program. The first session on Friday is for parents only, to help you develop a plan for purposeful parenting.
The second session on Saturday is for you, as a parent, with your child. Topics discussed in the second session include: fertility appreciation; fetal development; understanding the virtue of chastity; challenges growing up; the SPICE concept; and whole-person sexuality. Sessions will be broken up by gender.
