Presentation of the Lord

On February 2, we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, also known as Candlemas. This year, we have the joyful opportunity to celebrate with greater solemnity, as it falls on a Sunday. The Church provides us with beautiful ways to mark this feast, including a more solemn procession with candles.

We invite you to join us for this special celebration during the 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM Vigil Masses on Saturday, February 1. These Masses will begin with a solemn candlelit procession from the gathering space into the church. The other Masses on February 2 will begin in a simpler manner inside the church.

As part of this celebration, you are encouraged to bring candles from your home to be blessed. Please place your candles on the table near the baptismal font before Mass begins. Kindly ensure they remain in the vessel or container in which you bring them for the blessing, and label them or mark them in a way that you can easily identify them afterward.
