FATHER’S FAITH NOTES: 1/31/21

Dear St. Michael's family,

My name is Emily Ricci, and I am the Communications Coordinator here at St. Michael's. I work remotely from my home in New York, but I look forward to coming to visit once the pandemic is over! Even from a distance, I've been blown away by this welcoming and vibrant community since I began in July and greatly enjoy being a part of this parish family from afar.

Fr. Michael invited me to write a guest article this week to extend an invitation to you: Suggesting a topic for Father's Faith Notes!

What's that Bible passage that always leaves you feeling puzzled? How about that moral or Catholic social teaching that you've never quite understood? Or what's that thing we do in Mass that you just follow along with obediently without understanding why we do it?

I think we've all had questions about the faith that we weren't sure where to find the answer to or didn't want to "bother" our priests about. Well, now's your chance to have them answered, without having to spend hours on Google or feeling like you need an advanced theological degree to live out your faith! Email us at bulletin@stmcary.org with your faith questions for Father to review and possibly answer in an upcoming Father's Faith Notes.

Don't just go through the motions not knowing why we do what we do - let's commit to diving deeper into our faith together in 2021! Chances are, someone else has the same question too and will be happy you asked, so don't be shy. We'll keep the submitters anonymous.

We look forward to seeing your submissions!

God bless,
Emily Ricci
