Hello! My name is Milton Rodrigues, and I have been a parishioner at St. Michael for the past 18 years.
I grew up in a devoted Catholic family, which allowed me to develop a deep connection to my faith. This connection has been a source of strength and direction throughout life’s challenges. It has instilled in me a commitment to serving others, fostering community, and striving to make a positive impact wherever I can. The values of compassion, humility, and the power of faith in action have guided me, and with my background in engineering and technology, I aim to apply my problem-solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills to support the strategic planning and implementation of community initiatives.
I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and fishing, which help me connect with God’s creation.
Serving on the Pastoral Council is deeply rewarding as it allows me to contribute to the spiritual growth and community life of the church. I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside others in supporting the pastor, developing new ministries, and addressing the needs of our faith community. The fellowship, teamwork, and ability to positively impact others’ lives bring me immense fulfillment.
I believe that as Catholics, we are called to build an active faith community. Engaging in parish activities not only enriches your own faith journey, but also ensures that the faith is passed on to future generations. This mission has the power to transform lives and make a lasting impact on communities in need.
I have been involved in various ministries over the years, including Eucharistic Ministry, Adoration, Rosary Makers, Thanksgiving Basket, Meals on Wheels, and most recently, the Hospitality Ministry.
