Hello! My name is Msgr. Douglas (Doug) Reed, and I am Pastor Emeritus at St. Michael's. As Pastor Emeritus, I offer Mass and preach as needed, hear confessions, and offer spiritual direction.

I was the pastor at St. Michael's from 2011-2020 and continue to be a part of the community. I present Worldwide Marriage Encounter experiences, attend Cary Area Ministerial Alliance meetings, encourage Wake One ministry, and support efforts to provide Catholic High School education for low income families at Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School.

My favorite Bible passage is Luke 24:13-35 and I enjoy hearing the hymn "Gift of Finest Wheat." My favorite book is "The Source."
