My name is Tara Navarro, and I am proud to serve as Principal of St. Michael School. St. Michael has been my second home since serving as an RCIA sponsor in 2005 and joining the school faculty in 2006, and I have been humbled to work with incredible faculty members, faith-filled PreK - Grade 8 students, and dedicated families ever since.

Our parish school's mission statement is the following, and through every decision and conversation, we always keep it in mind to pursue continual improvement: "St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School provides a Christ-centered Catholic education, with a focus on academic excellence and the development of the whole person, through our core values of reverence, service, and leadership."

My two favorite Scripture verses have always been the following: "Never be lacking in zeal, be fervent in spirit, and serve the Lord!" (Romans 12:11) and "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" (1 Thess. 5:16-18). These inspiring verses - which I often share often with the St. Michael School family and with my own family - are the perfect reminders to stay rooted in Christ's Love as we serve God in others.
